IM type computer noises during Duffy music download?

I downloaded (legally from Ares) a couple of songs by Duffy. During both songs there were these computer type noises like the ones you hear when sending or receiving IM's? Those noises are not there during the music video. Is this some sort of download thing? Anyone else hear this?
